NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's cross country team claimed the title at the Iona "Paddy Doyle" Meet of Champions on Friday afternoon.
ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES
"Obviously I am pleased with our men's win today. But I was more pleased with the way we won. The guys controlled the race from the front and ran with great discipline. We were better today than we were two weeks ago and that is the most important takeaway foor me. We have some more work to do so we will enjoy this win and get back to work soon"
"John Valeri has taken a nice step forward. He worked hard this summer and that work is starting to pay off. I was really impressed with out plebes today. We had some nice runners all around but the finishes from Petrella, Ollar and Santoyo are pretty solid."
