Army comes into the game with a 14-23 record, while New York Tech sports a mark of 14-17.
The Black Knights are coming off their second-straight series split after taking the night cap on both Saturday and Sunday at Holy Cross. Offensively, Army was led by Jon Rosoff's 7-for-16 performance. The sophomore utility player saved his best performance for last as he acquired three hits in the series finale on Sunday.
Freshman Daniel Burggraaf was the work horse in the fourth and final game, allowing one walk while striking out a season-high nine batters in a three-hit effort. The Belfair, Wash., native tossed seven strong innings en route to Army's first shutout since May 1 of last year when the Black Knights beat Air Force, 8-0.
The Bears have been balanced to this point in the season, not having a winning or losing streak greater than two games. Their offensive production has been the product of senior Joe Daru's efforts. Daru leads the team in hits (45), batting average (.381), runs (30), doubles (10), triples (four), home runs (five), RBI (23) and stolen bases (17).
First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
