WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's basketball tries to win its sixth straight road game when it challenges Colgate on Wednesday night in Hamilton, N.Y. Opening tip is 7 p.m. ET and the contest will be broadcast online on the Patriot League Network.

STORYLINES
After a 15-point win at Loyola Maryland, Army improved to 7-2 on the road this season and is one of four teams in the country with seven road wins. Navy and Little Rock are both 7-1, while Monmouth owns a 7-3 mark in true road games.
Colgate comes into the contest after an overtime loss to Navy at home on Saturday. The Raiders and Black Knights split the two meetings last season with each team winning on its home floor.
Army has made at least 10 three-pointers in 12 games and is averaging 10.4 three-point field goals per contest this season, which is 11th in the country. Kyle Wilson is leading the nation in threes per game with 3.88. As a team, Army is shooting 37.6 percent from three-point range (167-of-444). 37.6 percent of Army's points have come via the three-point field goal, a number that ranks 63rd in the nation (KenPom.com).
The Black Knights have the ninth-ranked offensive tempo in the country according to Ken Pomeroy. Army's offense has an adjusted tempo of 75.6, which is an estimate of the possessions per 40 minutes a team would have against the average D-I tempo. Army's average offensive possession length is 14.4 seconds, which is seventh in the nation.
The Black Knights lead the conference in assists per game (18.4) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.3). Senior point guard Dylan Cox is tied for second in the conference in assists per game with 5.3.
Army has the top scoring offense in the Patriot League and is 20th in the nation with 84.0 points per game. In addition, the Black Knights lead the conference in scoring margin (+7.5). Army is unbeaten (5-0) when four or more players score in double figures.
With his 15-point effort against Loyola, Wilson moved past Lehigh's Jose Olivero into ninth on the Patriot League's all-time scoring list with 1,773 career points. Wilson is three points shy of tying Colgate's Adonal Foyle for eighth and is 12 points behind Navy's Greg Sprink, who scored 1,785 career points.
Senior center Kevin Ferguson leading the Patriot League in rebounding with 8.6 boards per game. Ferguson is 27th in the country in offensive rebounds with a Patriot League-leading 3.6 per contest. Over the last six games, Ferguson is averaging a double-double with 11.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. He grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds against Bucknell and is second in the conference with four double-doubles.
Tanner Plomb has scored in double figures in every game this season and 26 straight games overall. He has 14 performances of at least 20 points during the streak, including a career-high 31-point effort in the win over Gardner-Webb.
