Capt. John Landsberg enters his second year as the Director of Operations for the Army West Point women’s lacrosse program after joining the team in 2015-16.

A native of Ashburn, Va., Landsberg competed on Army’s JV lacrosse team in 2007 and 2008.

Landsberg graduated from West Point with degrees in Systems Engineering and Engineering Psychology in May of 2011 before commissioning into the Armor Branch of the Army.

Landsberg was first assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, where he served as a platoon leader, company executive officer and S3 Air Operations Officer.

He has graduated from a number of Army courses, including the Armor Basic Officer Leader Course, the Army Reconnaissance Course, Airborne School, Jumpmaster School, Ranger School, the Maneuver Captains Career Course and the Cavalry Leaders Course.
