Women’s Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army West Point Women's Lacrosse and Noto Family Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Michelle Tumolo have announced the 2026 schedule. Tumolo is entering her fifth season on the Banks of the Hudson River and will look to build on the previous seasons success after the program earned their second NCAA tournament bid in 2025.
The schedule features a total of 16 games, with eight home contests. The Black Knights will open their regular season for the second consecutive season against Rutgers on February 6, with this year's edition to be played at 6 p.m. at Rutgers.Army will host the Marist Red Foxes for the home-opener on Feb. 10 at 4 p.m. The two local foes will face off for the eighth time in program history. The Black Knights lead the all-time series 6-1 and have won their last five matchups.
Following their first home matchup, the Black Knights will play two historic road games, against National Championship Runner-up Northwestern on February 14 at. 2 p.m. ET in Evanston, Ill. and Florida State in Atlanta, Ga., on Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. This is their first time ever competing against both teams.
Army will then play two consecutive home games against Colorado on March 1 at 12 p.m. and Fairfield on March 4. The Black Knights played both teams for the first time ever last year. This season Army will hope to repeat their dominant conference play in the Patriot League, following up a record of 8-1 in 2025. The Black Knights will be open Patriot League play on the road against Boston University on March 7, who they defeated 18-8 in their last contest and hold an all-time series record of 6-3 against.
Army's matchup against Boston is followed by three consecutive conference games against Loyola at home on March 14, Bucknell on the road on March 21, and Lafayette at home on March 27. Against Bucknell, Army holds an all-time record of 6-3, winning their previous three matchups. Against Lafayette, Army has commanded an all-time series record of 7-2, with the Black Knights winning seven consecutive games against the Leopards. Army's last victory against them came on March 29, 2024, a dominant win of 21-2 with seniors Brigid Duffy and Allison Reilly scoring seven goals and five goals, respectively.
After the four-game stretch of conference play, the Black Knights will take on defending Ivy League Champion Yale on the road on March 31 in New Haven, Conn. This is Army's third ever matchup against the Bulldogs. The season will wrap up with five consecutive conference games starting with a home game against American on April 4. The Black Knights have won four straight against the Eagles.
Next Army will play in a highly touted matchup against rival Navy on the road in Annapolis, Md. on Saturday, April 11 for the star, which is a part of the Star Series Presented by USAA. This will be the two service academies' 13th matchup all time in women's lacrosse.
The Black Knights will then play two straight home games against Holy Cross on April 15 at 4 p.m. and Lehigh on April 18 at 12 p.m. for senior day. Army has won six straight against Holy Cross. Against Lehigh, the Black Knights are looking to take a lead in their all-time series record against the Mountain Hawks. The two teams hold a 6-6 record in their head-to-head matchups.
Army will wrap up the regular season on the road against Colgate on April 22 in Hamilton, N.Y.
