July 08, 2025 | Women's Lacrosse
Austin, Texas – College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) announced its 2025 Academic All-America® Women's At-Large Teams for All NCAA and NAIA Divisions.
Army Women's Lacrosse junior defender Meghan Pedrani was named to the Academic All-America Second Team.
A total of 46 student-athletes were recognized across the three teams, while Pedrani was one of six NCAA Division I Lacrosse players to be named across the three teams. She was one of four Patriot League athletes to be named to a CSC Academic All-America Team.
The New Jersey native has a 3.91 GPA and is majoring in Civil Engineering. On the field, she was an All-Patriot League First Team Selection and a Patriot League All-Academic Team member. Pedrani started in all 17 games for the Black Knights and finished with 20 caused turnover and 24 ground balls. Notably, she recorded a caused turnover and ground ball in Army's NCAA First Round game.
The award is given by College Sports Communicators annually to the most accomplished student-athletes for academic and athletic achievement each year since 1952. The sports sponsored are soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, baseball, softball, track and field/cross country and an at-large program that includes sports for which the NCAA sponsors a championship. To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better and be a starter or key reserve.
CSC's academic team is the longest-running and most prestigious academic and athletic award for student-athletes. Nominating and voting are privileges held exclusively by College Sports Communicators members on behalf of student-athletes from throughout the NCAA, NAIA, two-year Colleges and Canadian institutions.
Last month, she was selected to the CSC Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team, which nominated her for becoming an All-America.
