Prior to West Point: Played club lacrosse for LI Legacy…Named the 2023 Outstanding Freshman Athlete of the Year…Member of National Honors Society…Was a 2025 All-League Academic Team Member…Member of the Honor Roll…Also competed in Field Hockey, Swim and Winter Track…Was a 2025-26 All-County Swim Selection…Earned the 2026 Tri-Athlete Award…Named the 2026 Military Service Award Recipient.
Personal: Outside of Lacrosse likes to compete in CrossFit & Hyrox Training as well as running and going to the beach...Mother, Christina Berzler-Retzlaff played women’s soccer at Towson (1993-96)…Sister, Emilia Retzlaff attends the United States Naval Academy and is a member of the women’s lacrosse team.
Why West Point?: “I feel as if West Point chose me, in a sense that the first time I stepped on campus I turned to my Dad and said, “I am going here.” When I was young, there was a swimmer who I looked up to named Emily Bardak and she went on to swim at USAFA, sparking interest for myself to want to attend a service academy. I strive on structure and discipline within my daily routine, having a set schedule every day to stay on task and organized has always set me up for success. Not only for these reasons have I chosen West Point but being able to have an experience of a lifetime was something I could never pass up. The sacrifice, selfless service, incredible education and the community around West Point has given me reassurance that I am going to the best institution in the country. In great addition playing Division 1 Lacrosse at a very high level, that has always been a dream of mine.”
