2017: Competed in three of five meets… placed 13th overall at the Maine Dual with a time of 19:42.6…at the Navy Dual star meet she clocked a time of 20:42.4 which was good for 18th place…took 32nd place at the Patriot League Championships with a time of 22:21.29.
2016: One of three freshmen that ran in all six races… Placed fourth at the Maine Duals… Finished 11th at the Iona “Paddy Doyle” Meet of Champions… Clocked a time of 22:03 at the Paul Short Invitational… Against Navy placed eighth with a time of 23:42.28… At the Patriot League Championships placed 38th with a time of 22:02.9… Finished 189th at the NCAA Regionals.
High School: Karlen comes to West Point from Northwest Nelson High School. She has a personal best time of 2:18.00 in the 800-meter run, 5:20.60 in the 1,600 meters and 11:20.20 in the 3,200 meters.
