Conor McCorry joined the athletic communications staff at Army West Point in August 2022.
In his role, he serves as the primary media contact for the hockey, women's lacrosse & men's tennis programs along with serving as the secondary contact for football.
Army was named one of 11 recipients of the Football Writers Association of America annual Super 11 Award for the 2024 season. The award honors football programs and sports information departments that exemplify excellence in media relations.
McCorry comes to West Point after a stint at Harvard University, where he served as the primary media contact for the men's and women's water polo, women's rugby and skiing programs, along with serving as the secondary contact for men's basketball.
During his tenure in Cambridge, McCorry was awarded Northeast Water Polo Conference Sports Information Director of the Year by the Collegiate Water Polo Association following the men's season in the fall of 2021. After the women's season that following spring, McCorry received Division I Women’s Sports Information Director of the Year by the CWPA for his work with the Harvard women's program. McCorry graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Media and Information Technology and minor in Political Science from the State University of New York at Cortland in 2020. McCorry would go on to earn his master's degree in Sport Management, also from Cortland. McCorry is a native of Wappingers Falls, NY, and continues to reside in the Hudson Valley.
