2010-11 (JUNIOR): Authored a solid junior campaign, swimming primarily the distance freestyle and individual medley events ... recorded a pair of personal bests versus Navy (Dec. 9) ... shattered his previous career records in both the 200 IM (1:56.29) and 1650 free (16:42.59) ... placed sixth in both events ... turned in a pair of fifth-place showings against Bucknell (Jan. 15), placing fifth in the 200 IM with a time of 2:00.13, and finishing fifth in the 1000 free with a personal-best time of 10:04.90 ... recorded third-place finishes in both the 200 breast (2:12.02) and 1000 free (10:08.78) in Army's victory over Drexel (Jan. 21) ... set a personal best in the 400 IM at the Patriot League Championships (Feb. 17) ... touched the wall in 4:10.19 in the preliminaries ... selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for the third straight year after compiling a 3.95 grade point average during the spring semester.
2009-10 (SOPHOMORE): Turned in a third-place showing in the 200 IM (2:00.91) in Army's season-opening sweep of Vermont and Stony Brook (Oct. 9) ... posted a season best in the 400 IM, clocking the team's fourth-fastest time of the season (4:17.03) as the Black Knights swept conference rivals Colgate and Lafayette (Jan. 30) ... qualified for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 3.89 grade point average during the spring semester.
2008-09 (FRESHMAN): Competed in the 500 free at the Patriot League Championships (Feb. 21) ... notched a personal-best 1:42.55 in the 200 free against Navy (Dec. 4) ... also notched a 1:56.39 in the 200 back and a 1:58.61 in the 200 IM during the meet ... Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recipient with a 3.43 grade point average.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Academic All-America at Copley High School for coach Ed Burnsed ... was named rookie of the year and a team captain, along with earning "Hardest Worker," "Most Improved" and "Most Valuable Swimmer" awards during his career ... also played tennis for two years and baseball for one ... served as National Honor Society secretary and was on the student council ... named "Man of the Year" as a senior ... member of Firestone Akron club team.
