BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army Swimming and Diving's Johnny Crush, Hadley Futch, and Paul Moody each earn Patriot League weekly awards for their performances at Crandall Pool on Friday night in the annual Star Meet, part of the Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA.
Â
Claiming his third consecutive Men's Swimmer of the Week nod, junior Johnny Crush delivered dominant performances across backstroke and relay events against Navy, shattering two program benchmarks. Crush secured first place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 44.50. He then claimed first place in the 200-yard backstroke after touching the wall in 1:39.72, breaking his previous Academy and Crandall Pool records of 1:40.28. Crush also led off the winning 200-yard medley relay that finished in 1:24.47Â and the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay that clocked in at 2:54.11.
