     Â
In his first season on the staff in 2014, Blick coached the Samford tight ends and slot receivers.

Blick came to Samford from Georgia Tech where he served as the Special Teams Quality Control coach during the spring of 2014.

State ranked third in the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring offense, averaging 31.8 points per game, and was fourth in total offense, averaging 338.5 yards per outing.
  Â
Blick was also an undergraduate assistant at N.C. State from 2004 to 2007. He was part of the staff that helped the Wolfpack team to the 2005 Meineke Car Care Bowl.Â
