Prior to West Point/Personal: Played at Oceanside Collegiate Academy in Mount Pleasant, S.C….Totaled 119 tackles, 21 sacks, and 27 tackles for loss in his senior season…Helped Oceanside win a state championship…Was named a team captain in his junior and senior seasons…Was named an All-State, All-Region, and All-Lower Country selection…Also played basketball…His great-grandfather and grandfather served in World War II and the Vietnam War respectively…His uncle, Jon Ferber, is currently a Major in the Army.
