No. 19/22 Women’s Lacrosse Falls to No.11/15 Colorado in Sunday Afternoon Match-Up

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's lacrosse fell to No.11/15 Colorado (4-1) by a score of 13-6 on Sunday afternoon at Michie Stadium. Army (3-2) was paced by senior Allison Reilly who earned her third hat trick of the 2026 season. Senior Lindsey Serafine collected a season high 11 saves in the defeat.

How It Happened
- The Black Knights started back and forth with the Buffaloes to start the game with neither team able to find the back of the net, highlighted by three saves by senior Lindsey Serafine
- Army was able to break thru with six minutes left in the first quarter. Senior Brigid Duffy cleared the ball thru the 30's. At the top of the 8m, Duffy flipped the ball to fellow classmate Allison Reilly. Reilly ripped a shot from the top of the 8m as fading down the arc that beat the Colorado top right corner to make it 1-0.
- The Buffaloes used a 9-0 run to take a 9-1 lead into halftime. Reilly found her second of the day with 13:29 left in the third quarter. The senior took the ball herself from the draw control and ran around the net. Reilly beat the Colorado defenders with speed and beat the Colorado goalie up high.
- The Black Knights collected a third goal of the day from sophomore Paige Moretti. Duffy behind the net fed the ball to Moretti cutting down thru the 8m. Moretti took a shot that beat the Colorado goalie keeper on the offside hip.
- Reilly scored her third for the Black Knights with under 3 minutes left in the third quarter. Junior Ryan Remaly passed the ball at the top of 8m to senior Lily Valentini. Valentini drove across the 8m and was swarmed by three Colorado defender. As Valentini was pulling out, she passed the ball to an open Reilly just above the goal line. Reilly shoot a sidearm shot that beat the Colorado goalie on the short side.
- After three quarters, the Buffaloes took 11-4 into the final frame. At 13:38, Duffy scored the Black Knights fifth goal. Sophomore Geneva Cesoni Milch passed the ball back to senior Lily Valentini at the top left side of the 8m. Duffy up from the bottom of the 8m and beat her defender and Valentini found her in front of the net. Duffy took a jump shot that beat the Colorado goalie high.
- Junior Ryan Remaly scored the sixth and final goal of the afternoon with 11:41 left in the fourth quarter. Reilly drew a double team behind the net and passed it to Remaly on the backside after she slipped behind two Colorado defenders in the middle of the 8m.
