WEST POINT, N.Y. – Coming off a successful season during the fall, Army West Point women's rugby received five 2025 All-NIRA Team selections, the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) announced on Friday afternoon.
Yesenia Morales, Cecilia Ollis, Taimane Fiatoa and Cassidy Ball were named First Team All-NIRA, while Alissa Eisenhart was named Second Team All-NIRA. This is second career All-NIRA honor for Morales, Ollis and Eisenhart. For Fiatoa and Ball, this is their first time receiving the recognition.
"I am so proud of these five women. They come to West Point with a commitment to serve and carry that same dedication, discipline, and drive onto the rugby field every single day," said Penny Anderson Women's Rugby Head Coach Jenn Salomon-Clayton. "To have 5 players earn All-NIRA honors is a true reflection of the standard this program holds itself to. Each of them has put in the work, elevated those around them and represented WAR with excellence and pride. They have earned every bit of this, and it is a great moment for all of us."
First Team All-NIRA
Yesenia Morales | Junior | Milwaukee, Wis.
Morales was invaluable to the program on both sides of the ball this season. She was a defensive cornerstone, finishing second on the team with 76 tackles, while also being one of the most dangerous attackers with 71 carries, seven assists, six tries, and 30 points. Her ability to impact all phases of the game makes her one of the most complete players in NIRA.
Cecilia Ollis | Senior | Charleston, S.C.
Army's go-to forward and the power behind the attack, led the entire team with 102 carries. She further proved her strength on both sides of the field by racking up 52 tackles and six tries. Ollis was a key member of a tight five that achieved a 96 percent scrum success rate. She also demonstrated her versatility by playing tighthead and number eight throughout the season. She is the engine of the Army attack.
Taimane Fiatoa | Sophomore | Laie, Hawaii
The defensive anchor this season, Fiatoa led the team with 89 tackles at a 99 percent success rate. She ranked second on the team with 75 carries and added three tries for 15 points, proving she is just as dangerous with the ball in hand as she is without it. Her physicality, relentless motor and ability to consistently show up in big moments made her a true difference maker in every match she played.
Cassidy Ball | Sophomore | Jefferson, N.J.
Ball was the most dangerous finishing threat all season. She led the team with 11 tries and 55 points while generating consistent momentum with 63 carries and contributing 28 tackles on the defensive end. Her attacking instincts and ability to finish under pressure made her a constant threat for us.
Second Team All-NIRA
Alissa Eisenhart | Senior | Annadale, N.J.
Eisenhart made history this season by becoming the first player in program history to reach 300 career points, a milestone that speaks to her longevity, consistency, and excellence. She led the team with 105 points on 43 conversions, three penalties, and two tries, while also contributing 39 carries and 33 tackles. Her composure and reliability under pressure were cornerstones of everything the team did this season.
