Men’s Lacrosse’s Eicher and Coletti Earn Patriot League Weekly Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Senior attackman Jackson Eicher and senior faceoff specialist Will Coletti have been named Patriot League Players of the Week following standout performances in Army's season-opening 16-9 victory over UMass.
Eicher earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after tallying four goals and four assists, contributing to half of Army's total points. He also added a caused turnover and two ground balls in the dominant win.
Coletti was recognized as the Faceoff Specialist of the Week, winning 15 of 23 faceoffs and leading the team with nine ground balls. The Monrovia, Md., native played a crucial role in Army's possession game.
Additionally, Brayden Fountain and Christian Fournier received honorable mentions for their performances. Fountain, making his collegiate debut, scored four goals, while Fournier, a long-stick midfielder, anchored the defense with four caused turnovers and five ground balls.
The Black Knights will make their home debut this Saturday, Feb. 15, at noon against Rutgers.
