Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point men's lacrosse and Jack Emmer Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Joe Alberici announced the team's schedule for the 2026 season on Monday morning.
"I am excited for this year's group to have the opportunity to play another demanding schedule," commented Alberici. "Beginning with the first ever Army men's lacrosse game played in January, the non-conference schedule will challenge us every weekend. This will prepare us for the rigors of playing the talented and balanced Patriot League teams."
The Black Knights' 2026 campaign features 14 total contests with eight games against Patriot League opponents.
Army finished its 2025 season with a 12-2 record and a 7-1 record in Patriot League matchups to earn the team their 16th Patriot League Regular Season Champions title.
The Black Knights open their season on their home turf at Michie Stadium when they take on the University of Massachusetts on Saturday, January 31. Army holds an 18-15 all-time record against the Minutemen with a 16-9 win in their most recent matchup in the 2025 season opener.
Army then hits the road the following weekend to face Rutgers in Piscataway, N.J. on February 7. The Black Knights have three straight wins against the Scarlet Knights and lead the all-time series with a 64-23-1 record.
The Black Knights return home for their next matchup on February 14 as they welcome Yale to the banks of the Hudson. Army holds a dominant 50-8 all-time record against the Bulldogs, including a 14-3 win in their game last season, the first meeting between the two teams since 2004.
Army returns to the road on Saturday, February 21 when they take on Michigan in Atlanta, Ga. This marks the Black Knights' second ever matchup against the Wolverines after Army dominated their first matchup in 2013 with a 12-1 win in Miami.
The Black Knights remain in the Peach State as they head over to Macon to take on Mercer on Monday, February 23 for their first weekday contest of the 2026 campaign. Army is undefeated against Mercer with three consecutive wins since their first matchup in 2023.
After their two contests in Georgia, Army returns home for their first Patriot League contest of the season against Holy Cross on Saturday, February 28. The Black Knights boast eleven straight wins against the Crusaders dating back to 2016, with a 35-1 all-time record.
The Black Knights then head back on the road for another Patriot League contest the following Friday in a nighttime matchup against Lafayette in Easton, Pa on March 6. Army earned a 15-5 win over the Leopards at West Point last season in the 43rd meeting between the two programs.
Army plays its third straight Patriot League matchup on Saturday, March 14 when they travel up to Boston University. Army holds a 9-7 all-time record against the Terriers.
The Black Knights remain on the road for their next matchup when they take on North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C. The matchup is set for Saturday, March 21 and serves as Army's sixth all-time matchup with the Tarheels. The Tarheels lead the series 3-2 over the Black Knights, but Army claimed victories in the two most recent matchups in 2024 and 2025.
Army's will celebrate Firstie Day the following Saturday on March 28 when it takes on Lehigh at Michie Stadium. This game serves as the first of five straight Patriot League contests for Army to close out the 2026 season. The Black Knights have won four consecutive games over the Mountain Hawks and hold a 30-11 all-time record against Lehigh.
The Black Knights return to the road for their next matchup against Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pa. on Saturday, April 4. Army has earned five straight wins against the Bisons since 2018 and have 34 wins in their 48 matchups.
Army returns to Michie Stadium to face service academy rival Navy on Saturday, April 11. The Black Knights have won three straight over the Midshipmen including a 12-11 overtime win in Annapolis, Md. during the 2025 season. Army won their most recent matchup at West Point by a score of 13-8 in 2024 in front of a crowd of 10,400.
The Black Knights head to Baltimore the following Saturday on April 18 to take on Loyola Maryland. Army possesses the all-time advantage over the Greyhounds with a 10-9 record. The two teams last faced off in April of last season where Army earned its 12th win of the season by a score of 18-6 and clinched their 2025 Patriot League Regular Season Champions title.
Army closes out its regular season schedule at home on Friday, April 24 when they take on Colgate at Michie Stadium. The Black Knights earned a 13-7 win over the Raiders during the 2025 regular season before falling to Colgate 16-13 in the semifinals of the Patriot League tournament to end their season.
