Charlotte Richman Set to Compete in NCAA Cross Country Championships
November 21, 2025 | Women's Cross Country
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Charlotte Richman is set to become the first Army West Point women's cross country runner to compete in the NCAA Championships, which are set for Saturday morning and hosted by Missouri at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.
Richman earned her spot in the championship race after winning the individual title at the NCAA Northeast Region last Friday. She is the first Black Knight to win an individual regional championship in program history. Richman, a senior from Portland, Ore., posted a time of 19:52.8, which is the fastest 6K time in program history.
It's been a season to remember for Richman, who was the runaway winner of the Army-Navy Star Meet earlier this fall and the winner of the Patriot League Championship race, which gave her the title of Patriot League Runner of the Year. Richman was also named the Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Richman played a crucial role in helping the women's cross country team earn its second-consecutive Patriot Leage Championship and its best-ever finish at an NCAA Regional Championship. The Black Knights finished third in the Northeast Region with a total of 91 points.
