Sprint Football Sprints to Victory over Molloy

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point sprint football defeated the Molloy Lions (1-2) by a score of 49-0 to on Friday night. For Army (2-0), this marks the fifth consecutive home-opener victory and the second consecutive victory over Molloy. The Black Knights were led by two receiving touchdowns from Carson McFadden and four passing touchdowns from Kyle West.
West led the Black Knights with 229 passing yards and four passing touchdowns and one on the ground. McFadden led Army with 82 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. Nicolas Cueto went 7 for 7 on extra point attempts. On the defensive side of the ball, Samuel Curtis lead the Black Knights with four solo tackles, nine total and one sack for a loss of eight yards.
Army jumped out to an early 7-0 lead with 8 minutes left on the clock off a 37-yard pass to Carson McFadden. The drive was for four plays for 65 yards. Less than five minutes later with 3:33 left on the clock the Black Knights struck again. West found McFadden for his second receiving touchdown, this time for 45 yards to make it 14-0. Before the end of the first quarter, the Black Knights added seven more points thru the air. Cason Mackie scored off a 23-yard pass from West.
To open the second quarter, West added another score this time with his legs for a 20-yard run to make it 28-0. Before the end of the half, the Black Knights added another score, on a 61-yard receiving touchdown from Kelton Ocasek.
Coming out of half time, Gabriel Bolivar punched in a two-yard run to make it 42-0. Jeff Ryder would add another on a 55-yard pass to Collin Teschky to make it 49-0.
