Alex Buckingham Named Hockey Equipment Manager

WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point hockey and head coach Brian Riley have announced the addition of Alex Buckingham to the staff as the program's equipment manager.
Buckingham comes to West Point after spending the past two seasons as the equipment manager for the Clarkson University men's hockey program. Prior to his stint in Potsdam, Buckingham served as the head hockey equipment manager at Canisius for two seasons, giving him prior experience in Altantic Hockey America.
Buckingham was on the staff at Lebanon Valley College for the six seasons before his stint with the Golden Griffins, supporting both the men's and women's ice hockey teams.

Buckingham also worked for College Hockey Showcases during the 2019-20 season as the director of operations. He also spent two seasons as an associate head coach with the Hershey Jr. Bears, breaking down game film for player and coach use while also providing on and off ice instruction to players.

A native of Harrisburg, PA, Buckingham earned his bachelor's degree in digital communications at Lebanon Valley in May of 2018.Â
