Hockey Unveils 2026-27 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point hockey has announced its 2026–27 schedule, which includes 18 home games at Tate Rink and marks head coach Zach McKelvie's second season leading the Black Knights.
Army opens the year with an exhibition against RPI on Friday, Oct. 2, followed by a non-conference game against Union on Saturday, Oct. 3. The Black Knights host RMC in an exhibition on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Conference play begins with a road series at Holy Cross on Oct. 17–18. Army then visits Quinnipiac on Oct. 23 before returning home to face the U.S. National Team Development Program U18 team on Oct. 24.
The Black Knights host RIT on Oct. 30–31 and travel to Air Force on Nov. 6–7. Army plays Sacred Heart at Tate Rink on Nov. 13–14 and meets RPI in a home-and-home on Nov. 27–28.
Army hosts Bentley on Dec. 4–5 before two games against Penn State — first at the Prudential Center on Dec. 10, then in University Park on Dec. 12. The Black Knights travel to Maine on Dec. 19 and close the month at the Empire State Holiday Invitational at UBS Arena on Dec. 28–29.
The new year begins with a road game at Brown on Jan. 5. Army then plays two games at Robert Morris on Jan. 15–16 and hosts Canisius on Jan. 22–23. The Black Knights travel to RIT on Jan. 29–30.
February includes four straight conference weekends: Niagara at home on Feb. 5–6, Sacred Heart on the road on Feb. 12–13, Air Force at Tate Rink on Feb. 19–20 and Bentley on the road on Feb. 26–27.
The Atlantic Hockey postseason begins March 2 with the first round, followed by quarterfinals on March 5–7, semifinals on March 12–14 and the championship on March 20.
