Graver Garners Patriot League Pitcher of the Week Award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point Baseball's Steven Graver has been named the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week following his scoreless start at Lehigh March 30.

Pitching in his home state of Pennsylvania, Graver tossed 5.2 shutout innings and struck out six batters, as the Black Knights cruised to a 5-0 win on their way to road a series victory.

The senior from Yardley, Pa. currently holds a 4.43 ERA and a 2-0 record, as well as a 1.04 ERA in Patriot League play.

Seven games into conference play, Army has allowed five or fewer runs in each matchup, and two or fewer runs in four games across that stretch. The team's conference ERA sits at 2.30.

Army has not allowed a home run in conference play, and Black Knight starting pitching has gone five innings or longer in all but one Patriot League matchup.
