Byrne's Heroics Net Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army Men's Lacrosse's Sean Byrne was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season the league announced Monday afternoon.
The sophomore made 19 saves to help guide Army to a win over arch-rival Navy in the Star Series presented by USAA. He had the most saves by an Army goalie against the Mids since 1985.
His heroics were none more evident than in the third quarter, where he allowed zero goals and made nine saves, keeping Army in front when the Black Knights faced a goal drought of their own.
The last time he won keeper of the week he also made 19 saves in a win at UNC on 3/30.
Army now turns its attention to Bucknell who they will face off with at 7:30 pm on Friday, Apr. 19.
