Golf Concludes Second Round of Dorado Beach Collegiate

DORADO, Puerto Rico – The Army West Point golf team continued its first tournament of the spring season at the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico and remained in 15th place.
The Black Knights were 3-over on the day as a team and is 5-over for the tournament. The hosts of UNC Greensboro are atop the leaderboard after two rounds at 37-under par. Chris Vandette of Kent State remained in the lead among the individual players at 14-under through two rounds with a 6-under 66 on day two at TPC Dorado Beach.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Josh Kim turned in another even-par round of 72 with a rollercoaster of a round with six birdies and bogeys.
• Rob Ferris joined Kim with an even-par 72 on Monday and he had four birdies.
• Samuel Kim also shot a 72 on his second day of competition and he was consistent with two birdies and 14 pars on the day.
• John Heckel Jr. dropped to even par for the tournament after a 2-over 74 on day two.
The final round of the Dorado Beach Collegiate tees off on Tuesday morning from TPC Dorado Beach.
