Golf Concludes Second Round at Folds of Honor Collegiate

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – The Army West Point golf team completed the second round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate at the American Dunes Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Black Knights finished the second day in the 16th spot on the leaderboard at 56-over and moved up one spot. Michigan State was the only team under par on Tuesday and was 5-under for the day to jump eight places to earn the top spot heading into the final day at 2-over par. Nick Mathews of NC State remained in first place with a 1-under 70 to go into the final day with a three-shot lead at 5-under par.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
• John Heckel Jr. shot a 5-over 76 on day two and is in 39th place at 6-over for the tournament.
• He had four birdies on the day and recovered to shoot two-under in his final five holes, including a birdie on the last.
• Joshua Kim shot a 6-over par 77 and had a birdie for the Black Knights.
• Rob Ferris had a 7-over 78 on the day and had a great approach shot on the last and sunk the putt for a birdie.
• Today's round and the final round will be live on the Golf Channel and on Peacock streaming service. The coverage has been moved up to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
