Ashton White doubled down the left field line in the fourth, but the Black Knights weren't able to score and headed into the bottom of the inning still knotted at one.
Fairfield heated up in the bottom of the fourth, Kaitlin Hoffman and Anna Paravati both hit singles to the outfield to give the Stags two runners on with one out. The pair simultaneously stole bases, which led to Hoffman scoring on an Army error.
