Men's Tennis Rolls to 4-0 Victory Over Holy Cross

WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point men's tennis (13-9, 2-0 Patriot League) took down Holy Cross (4-8, 0-2 Patriot League) in a clean sweep, 4-0.

Army cruised to the doubles point, with A.J. Woodman and Thomas Lake posting a (6-2) win on court one while Stanley Liu and Michael Zhang also tabbed a (6-2) victory. Vishnu Bodavula and Samuel Eden held a 5-3 lead when the point was clinched.

Woodman dominated on court one in the singles, never dropping a game on his way to a (6-0, 6-0) victory. Jake Huarte continued his stellar form on court four, posting a (6-2, 6-0) win to make it a 3-0 Black Knights lead. Michael Zhang clinched the victory on court six with a (6-4, 6-0) triumph.

Army will take on Loyola at 11:00 a.m. and Lafayette at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. The morning matchup is slated for the Malek Courts with the afternoon matchup set for Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
