Gage Lyons Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

West Point, NY – Army West Point men's soccer freshman forward Gage Lyons has been named Patriot League Rookie of the Week after his performance against Colgate.
The rookie scored Army's only goal two minutes into the match to give the Black Knights the early lead. Over the last three games, Lyons has played 215 minutes and has scored a goal in each match off five total shots on goal. He currently leads the team in goals and points as he begins to stand out as one of the Patriot League's best rookies.
Army will look to him to continue the scoring streak as they travel to Villanova to take on the Wildcats on Tuesday, Oct 24th before returning to conference action on Saturday at American.
