WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point sprint football rolled to a 5-0 record after a big 43-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday night at Shea Stadium.

The Black Knights opened the game with a Maurice Bellan touchdown catch from Mikal Willeke.

After forcing a turnover, Alex Perine trotted out there and nailed a field goal to make it 10-0.

The defense then joined in on the fun, forcing a safety to make it 12-0 right before the end of the first quarter.

After another defensive stop, Arthur Lavalais found pay dirt for the fourth time this season to put the Cadets up 19-0.

After thinking they were held to a field goal attempt, Army pulled a trick play running a fake field goal pass to Scott Belveal to go up 26-0.

Right before the half, Perine added another field goal to make it 29-0 at the break.

Bellan added a touchdown on the ground on the first drive of the third quarter making it 36-0.

After a Jonathan Abrahams interception, Ryan Connors found the endzone to go up 43-0.

That score would hold as the Black Knights would move to 5-0 on the year ahead of a bye week.

The Cadets now average 38.8 points per game while only allowing 3.2 points per game. The last time they gave up a touchdown came in the fourth quarter of their game against Penn on Sept. 29. They've not given up a point since the second quarter of the Star Game against Navy on Oct. 6.
