Coming Off Bye, Football Ready For Another At Home

Army (1-2) enters the contest fresh off a Week 4 bye week following a dominating 49-10 win over Villanova in Week 3. Georgia State comes in at 0-4 after tough losses vs. South Carolina, North Carolina, Charlotte and Coastal Carolina.Â
In the Black Knights' latest win vs. Villanova, Head Coach Jeff Monken recorded his 59th victory moving to No. 2 all-time on Army's career wins list. Since arriving at West Point in 2014, Monken has posted a 59-45 record (.567).Â
Through the first three games, Army is averaging 285 rushing yards per game, ranking third in the FBS.
Last season, Army and Georgia State met in the season opener with Army coming out on top, 43-10. In that game, OLB Andre Carter compiled 3.0 sacks and RBs Jakobi Buchanan and Tyson Riley each had a TD on the ground.Â
