Annapolis MD.- Army's Sprint Football competed in the 83^rd Annual Star Series with Navy, putting the second game of the season to rest. The annual matchup between Army and Navy, found the Black Knights falling to the Midshipmen 27-6. Mikal Willike had a career high of 226 passing yards connecting to Donovan Mannion for 97 yards. Henry Beck also had a career high of 97 rushing yards in tonight's loss against Navy

How it Happened- The Black Knights went up against the Midshipman in the 83^rd annual Star Series event. The Midshipmen took early control of the game with a 14-0 lead against the Black Knights. But Army was able to fight back, with the help of Ben Abercrombie's two field goals, cutting Navy's lead to 14-6. The score remained the same throughout the first half.

Army was able to draw 5 penalties for 57 yards against the Midshipman. Although Navy's defense was tight toward the end of the first half, Army continued to battle through and achieve first downs.

In the third quarter the Midshipman continued to drive the ball, extending their lead 24-6 with a 37 yd. field goal by Mychal Golden. But the Black Knights kept up the fight. Army's Henry Beck had a career high of 97 rushing yards. Quarterback Mikal Willeke also had a career high of 232 passing yards.

Turnovers and penalties seemed to plague both teams. Navy had a total of six offensive turnovers for 72 yards and two defensive turnovers for 25 yards. Army had two offensive penalties for 20 yards and one defensive penalty for 15 yards. But even with Navy's turnovers, their defense was sound and prevented Army from getting any touchdowns until Donovan Mannion's 7-yard touchdown in the final seconds of the fourth quarter.
