Golf Concludes Second Round of Fighting Illini Invitational

OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. – The Army West Point golf team continued the Fighting Illini Invitational on Saturday at Olympia Fields Country Club.
The Black Knights finished round two with a team score of 307 (+23) and is in 15th place after two days. Stanford remains in the lead with a seven stroke advantage over Arizona State. Adrien Dumont de Chassart is the individual leader at 8-under par.
TOURNAMENT NOTES:
• Marshall Daniel was Army's top golfer on Saturday with a 1-over 71 on the second day.
• He had four birdies on the day with two on the front and back nine and he is 8-over for the tournament.
The Black Knights are back in action for the final round on Sunday.
