KENSINGTON, CT – The Army West Point golf team finished its first tournament of the season in a tie for sixth place at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Tournament at Shuttle Meadow Country Club.

The Black Knights shot a 282 (-2) as a team on Sunday to finished 5-under for the two-day tournament. Marcus Lim of Sacred Heart won the individual title with both Army's Dragon Theam and SHU's Jason Pelley not far behind in second place.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Dragon Theam was the top player for the Black Knights throughout the tournament and shot a 2-under 69 on Sunday. Â
• Theam carded five birdies on the second day mixed in with a couple of bogeys.
• He only dropped shots on three of the 36 holes played in the first rounds of the season and drained 11 birdies.
• Joshua Kim was the definition of consistency with another even par round on Sunday to finish even for the tournament.
• Kim ended up in a tie for 29th on the leaderboard and carded three birdies and only gave up shots on two holes on Sunday.
• James Ballato came out and played well for the second-straight day with an even par 71 on the final round and finished 1-over for the tournament for 35th.
• Marshall Daniel gained two shots on Sunday with an even par round of 71 and ended up in a tie for 40th at 2-over. Â

The Black Knights return to the course next weekend at the Fighting Illini Invitational at Olympia Fields Country Club, which has hosted multiple major championships. Â
