TOURNAMENT NOTES
COACHES CORNER WITH COACH BAGLEY
"I'm extremely proud of our team and the way they competed and fought throughout the weekend. The final result was not the goal we were looking for, but we fought hard and improved every day. We gave it everything we had for three days; and as their coach, I couldn't ask for any more from this group of young men.
Tom Katsenes' leadership has been phenomenal all year long; and he set the tone for our attitude and effort! Tom had a really solid round for his last round of collegiate golf; and nobody deserves it more than he does.Â
Â
Can't say enough about our Freshman Class; Joshua Kim has been rolling since Hawaii back in October and the best is yet to come for this young man, who has made a great transition to West Point! Very deserving recognition of John Heckel Jr. as the Patriot League Rookie of the Year; John has been in our lineup since our first tournament and his contribution to our team this year can't be understated. He's truly deserving of this honor, he's shined in every aspect of Cadet life as he's  been phenomenal on the golf course, in the classroom, and his Cadet Company. Patrick Song, our third freshman, didn't play this weekend, but is a tremendous talent and we are expecting great things from him this coming fall,
Â
The Patriot League, Lafayette College, and the Steel Club put on a tremendous conference championship this weekend. We're grateful to all involved in giving our team such a wonderful opportunity to compete."
