Track & Field 2022-23 Indoor Schedule Announced

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army West Point Track & Field has announced its 2022-23 indoor schedule. The slate features four meets at West Point, including the Star Meet against Navy on February 4th.Â
Army will compete nine times in total ahead of the Patriot League Indoor Championships at the end of February.Â
The Black Knights will compete for the first time at home, hosting the Crowell Open on Saturday, Dec. 3. The season will kick into full swing after the turn of the new year, as Army will play host to the West Point Open on January 6th.
Army will see its first road test on Jan.13-14, traveling south to compete in the Virginia Tech Invitational. The following weekend, the Black Knights will hit the road again and travel to Pennsylvania to take part in the Villanova Invitational. Â
The Cadets will split up on Jan. 27-28, sending athletes to both Boston University for the John Thomas Terrier Classic and to Penn State for the PSU National Open. Â
The Black Knights will play host to annual Army-Navy Star Meet this winter, taking on the Mids from Gillis Field House. The highly anticipated meet will take place on Saturday, Feb. 4, to decide who takes home the star in the coveted series.Â
Army hits the road one final time in the regular season following the Navy Meet, traveling back up to Boston for BU's David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 10-11. The final regular season meet will take place on Saturday, Feb. 18, as Army will host the West Point Tune-Up as a final preparation for the Patriot League Championships.Â
The Black Knights will travel to Annapolis, MD, on the weekend of Feb. 25-26 for the Patriot League Indoor Championships, hosted by Navy. Both the men's and women's teams each took home second place at last season's conference meet, and will look to contend once again for the Patriot League crown.Â
Army will have a chance to compete in the NCAA Indoor Championships, which will take place on Mar. 10-11 from Albuquerque, NM. The full Army track & field indoor schedule can be found HERE.Â
