WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army Black Knights defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders in four sets, securing their sixth consecutive win on Saturday afternoon.

Match SynopsisÂ
Holy Cross took the first set which proved to be a battle throughout. Army and the Crusaders went back and forth with neither side taking a lead of more than three. After Holy Cross held a 23-20 advantage, Army scored four straight before the Crusaders rattled off three straight kills to take the set, 26-24.
In the second set, the Crusaders took an early 10-8 lead but the Black Knights rallied with 11 straight points to take the set. The Crusaders ended the Black Knights run with a kill by Abbie Lane. However, Paige Fixemer answered back with a kill of her own. Army led Holy Cross with 14 kills to their eight in the set. As the set went on the Black Knights dominated Holy Cross as Fixemer had two straight kills followed by two attack errors by the Crusaders.
Army led comfortably throughout the third, seeing leads of 15-8 and 22-11 before taking the set by a score of 25-13. In the fourth set, Army went on a 5-0 run following a 15-13 lead. Army got out to a seven-point lead following the spurt. Savannah Bray had seven kills, two of which were during the Black Knights five-point run. Sophomore Julia Johnson secured Army's win with a kill.

- Paige Fixemer finished with 15 kills, and a .556 hitting percentage,
- Savannah Bray was second on the team in kills with 14 and in points with 15.5.
- Diana Ethridge had a double-double with 44 assists, and 16 digs, her third double-double in the last four matches.

- Army extended its win streak to six matches which is their longest win streak this season.
- Alma Kovaci Lee is one win away from 300 career wins.
- Army had 59 kills, and 11 aces to Holy Cross's 38 kills and six aces.
