Football's Robinson Named to Paul Hornung Award Watch List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After showcasing his talents on the field in his rookie season, Army West Point football's Tyrell Robinson has been named to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List.
Robinson is one of only 57 players in the nation to earn a spot on the 2021 list.Â
The Paul Hornung Award is given annually to the most versatile player in college football by the Louisville Sports Commission in the memory of the late football legend and Louisville native Paul Hornung. The winner and his family will be honored at the annual Paul Hornung Award dinner in March of 2021.Â
Robinson played a crucial role on both the rushing and punt return teams for Army a season ago. The Georgia native averaged 8.8 yards per punt return, which placed him 22nd nationally. Additionally, his 424 rush yards had him ranked eight in the country amongst freshman. The rising sophomore also caught six passes out of the backfield for 117 yards and two touchdowns.Â
