Kyle Beyer Named USILA Academic All-American
June 25, 2021 | Men's Lacrosse
WEST POINT, N.Y. - Kyle Beyer of Army men's lacrosse added another accolade to his already impressive resume as he earned a spot on the USILA Academic All-America list. He joins elite company as one of only 75 players in Division 1 lacrosse to earn the distinction. Beyer achieved excellence in the classroom and on the field in his final year at West Point. This academic honor comes after he was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team earlier this year.
Beyer was a force to be reckoned with on the Army defensive line during the 2021 season. The New Jersey native started all 11 games for the Black Knights, causing 11 turnovers and picking up 19 ground balls.
Beyer graduated with a degree in civil engineering last month and is currently serving as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
