Grabher Earns Patriot League Weekly Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Sophomore Stevie Grabher earned his second Patriot League weekly honor of 2021 as he was named the GEICO Faceoff Specialist of the Week after his performance in the win over Holy Cross on Saturday.
Grabher was dominant at the faceoff X with 14 wins on 18 chances and he scooped up seven ground balls. He also added a goal in the first minute of the game, scoring right off a faceoff for his first of the season.
The Glen Head, N.Y., native has reached double-digit faceoff wins in three of the five games this season. On Saturday, Grabher won 10 of his first 12 faceoffs and against three different Holy Cross faceoff specialist.
Brendan Nichtern, Marcus Hudgins and Wyatt Schupler earned honorable mention accolades this week as well.
The Black Knights face another tough test this weekend as Army heads to No. 10 Lehigh for a huge matchup in the Patirot League and nationally.
