December 15, 2021 | Women's Lacrosse
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Heading into her first season at the helm of the program, the Noto Family Head Women's Lacrosse Coach, Michelle Tumolo, announced a 17-game slate including eight at West Point in Michie Stadium.
The Black Knights will play a competitive group of opponents that include eight non-conference teams to go along with its nine-game Patriot League slate.
"I look forward to taking the field with our team and staff on February 12th." said Tumolo. "We have work to do until then, and there's nothing more motivating than a challenging schedule. I'm excited to see what this group is capable of achieving this spring. Come out to Michie to support! Go Army!"
Tumolo's group will start off the season with a pair of nonconference games at Temple (Feb. 12) and Rutgers (Feb. 16) before opening up Michie Stadium against Hofstra (Feb. 19). A home tilt with Niagara (Feb. 24) will commence before traveling up the Hudson to Marist (Feb. 26) for a non-conference showdown with the Red Foxes.
Two more non-conference clashes will take place vs. Monmouth (Mar. 5) and at Delaware (Mar. 9) before the Cadets open their Patriot League schedule with a road matchup at Boston University (Mar. 12). Army women's lacrosse will make three conference road trips to Colgate (Mar. 26), Bucknell (Apr. 9) and Navy (Apr. 23). The Black Knights will play one final non-conference matchup with Yale in the middle of its Patriot League schedule on Apr. 5.
Army's home conference schedule includes matchups with Holy Cross (Mar. 19), Lehigh (Mar. 30), American (Apr. 2) and Loyola (Apr. 16) before rounding out the regular season with a matchup opposite Lafayette (Apr. 29).
The Patriot League Championships are set to begin with the quarterfinal round on May 1 before the semifinals on May 5 and championship match on May 7.
Season and individual game tickets are on sale now. Season tickets are $25 and the youth/senior rate is $20. Single-game tickets are $12 and the youth/senior rate is $8, and the group ticket (10 or more people) rate is $8. Home ticketed games start in March for Saturday and Sunday games only.
