Black Knights Tabbed 15/16 in National Polls

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point men's lacrosse team is continuing to be recognized in national polls. For week five, the Black Knights have maintained the 16th slot in the USILA Coaches Poll and is 15th in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
The Black Knights are 2-1 against ranked opponents this season with their one loss coming to then-ranked No. 5 Syracuse. Army is 6-2 overall and take on its next ranked opponent this weekend in #18/19 Lehigh.
Army will face several more ranked opponents in the coming weeks of the season including No. 10/13 Notre Dame, No. 11/14 Loyola and No. 20 Bucknell.
Army's scoring defense (7.29) is second in the nation and its scoring margin of 6.50 is seventh. Brendan Nichtern ranks fourth in Division I at 3.38 assists per game, while his 5.75 points per game are eighth. Wyatt Schupler is third nationally in save percentage (.622) and for his 7.29 goals against average.
