Men's Lacrosse Maintains National Rankings

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point men's lacrosse team is continuing to be recognized in national polls. For week four, the Black Knights have maintained the 15th slot in the USILA Coaches Poll and is 16th in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
The Black Knights are 2-1 against ranked opponents this season with their one loss coming to then-ranked No. 5 Syracuse. Army will face several ranked opponents in the coming weeks of the season including No. 10 Notre Dame, No. 11 Loyola, No. 17/19 Lehigh and No. 20 Bucknell.
Army's scoring defense (6.67) tops the nation and its scoring margin of 6.50 is eighth. Brendan Nichtern ranks third in Division I at 3.50 assists per game, while his 5.50 points per game are 12th. Wyatt Schupler is second nationally in save percentage (.646) and for his 6.77 goals against average.
