McMullen, Renard Highlight Weekly Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. - After both produced record breaking weekends at the Army-Navy Star Meet in Annapolis, seniors Calli McMullen and Michael Renard have received several weekly honors.

McMullen broke two Academy records, breaking her own 60 meter dash record with a time of 7.51. She then went on to break both the Army and Patriot League with a 23.82 in the 200 meter dash. The mark was the first sub-24 second result in Army program history. Her accomplishments earned her recognition as the Patriot League Women's Track Athlete of the Week and the Army West Point Athletic Association Athlete of the Week.

Renard continued Army's throwing dominance this season, breaking teammate Geoff Kirk's record in the shot put with a toss of 18.76 meters. The two have now produced the top six throws in the league thus far in 2020. He was named Patriot League Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

The Black Knights have two meets remaining before heading to the Patriot League Championships on Feb. 29.
