Football Set to Host Air Force Saturday

SETTING THE SCENE
• The Black Knights look to capture the CIC Trophy on Saturday as they host Air Force at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19 at Michie Stadium.
• Army has won the CIC Trophy eight times, including back-to-back in 2017 and 2018 for the first time in program history. Also won it in 1972, 1977, 1984, 1986, 1988 and 1996.
• The Black currently own a nine-game home winning-streak dating back to 2019. During the stretch, the Black Knights have outscored their opponents by a total of 350-82 .
• During that nine-game home winning streak, they have held their opponents to less than 10 points in seven of those seven games. In six of those seven games (four in 2020), they have held opponents to a touchdown or less.
• The 2020 season marks the 49th year of the CIC trophy, which goes annually to the winning academy (Army, Air Force, Navy) with the best record in round-robin competition. The winning team goes to the White House to receive the trophy from the President of the United States.
• The game will also be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network with play-by-play from Dave Ryan, color from Ross Tucker and sideline reporter Tina Cervasio.
