Cadets Set for Star Matchup Against Navy

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point Sprint Football team travels down to Annapolis, Md., to take on archrival Navy at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The two teams will fight for the star, as part of the Star Series presented by USAA.

- This will be the 83rd all-time meeting between the two schools. Navy owns the 44-37-1 advantage in the all-time series, which dates back to 1957.
- Since the start of the 2012 season, Army owns a record of 6-4 over the Mids. During that span neither team has won more than two consecutive games.
- Of the 82 games that have been played in the rivalry, 37 have been decided by a single possession.
- The Mids have the slight 33-30-1 advantage in star series games.
- In the last meeting between the two squads, Army blanked the Mids 13-0 to claim its 36th CSFL title. It marked the Black Knights' first shutout over Navy since 1984.
STAR SERIES
- This will be the third star series matchup of the 2020-21 season. The series is currently split 1-1.
- On Oct. 17 the Army women's cross country team edged Navy 27-29. On the men's side, the Mids took the meet 23-34.
