AUSTIN, Texas – The Army West Point golf team concluded its 2019 spring season at the final round of the NCAA Regional at UT Golf Club on Wednesday.

The Black Knights finished in 13th place with a team score of 910 (+58) at a tough UT Golf Club over the three days of the regional. On Wednesday, Army had its best round of the week with a team score of 296 (+12) on the final 18 holes. Texas ran away with the regional title at 25-under for the three days and was 9-under on Wednesday.

Justin Williamson was Army's top player on the leaderboard throughout the regional and finished in a tie for 38th at 9-over for the three rounds. He finished with a score of 73-75-73—221.

- Williamson had three birdies on Wednesday and finished 1-under for the final nine holes of the tournament.
- He played the back nine at 1-over during the three rounds and had six birdies. Â
- Williamson dropped two birdies in the final five holes on the last day.
- Rookie Tom Katsenes posted back-to-back 74 (+3) rounds on the last two days and ended up 12-over for the regional and was 47th on the leaderboard.
- He had two birdies on the front nine and was steady on the back, going 1-over.
- Team captain Nick Turner finished his Army career at 14-over for the tournament and was 2-over on the last day. Â
- Matt Plunkett turned in his best round of the week on Wednesday with a 5-over 76. He carded one birdie and 11 pars on the final day.
