Cadets Kick Off Busy Weekend Of Meets

CALIFORNIA -Â Three members of the Army West Point men's track and field team competed at meets in California to kick off what will be a busy weekend of events for the Black Knights.Â
In Torrance, Calif., juniors Ben Petrella and Robbie Santoyo competed at the Mt. SAC Relays. The duo finished second and third in the 10,000 meter run, with Santoyo edging out his teammate with a time of 29:48.71.Â
Junior Roman Ollar competed in a 5000 meter distance carnival at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., where he placed 13th in his heat with a time of 14.36.84.
The majority of the team will be in action in Princeton, N.J. this weekend for the Larry Ellis Invite.Â
