Black Knights Primed for Star Match at Navy

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis team travels to Annapolis, Md., for its annual Star match against service-academy rival Navy on Saturday.
ARMY (15-5, 3-0 Patriot League)
• The Black Knights own an 8-2 advantage in the all-time series against Navy.
• Six Cadets have won at least 15 singles matches this year: Hannah Boubel (24), Sasha Inchauste (18), Ana Joyner (18), Gloria Son (16), Danna Funaro (15) and Melanie Allen (15).
• Kirby Einck is riding a team-best eight match winning streak in singles play.
• Her nine dual wins is the most on the squad.
• Allen and Joyner have combined for team-best marks in doubles, both overall at 17-9 and in duals at 10-4 in the top flight.
NAVY (19-5, 0-1 Patriot League)
• The Mids enter the match having won seven straight contests and 15 of their last 16.
• Their only match in league play was a 5-2 setback against Boston University on Feb. 4.
• Carlee Conway and Emily Louie-Meadors are tied for the best singles record on the team at 18-8.
• The duo of Amanda Keller and Kaylah Hodge have been Navy's top doubles team, competing to a team-best 19-6 record that includes an 11-3 mark in the top flight in duals.
