WEST POINT, N.Y. – The 15th-ranked Army West Point men's lacrosse team continues Patriot League play Saturday when it hosts Holy Cross at Michie Stadium to continue on its two-game homestand.

#15 ARMY (4-2, 1-1 Patriot League)
- The contest will begin at 12 p.m. from the banks of the Hudson.
- Army is 3-1 at home this year and is 1-1 in Patriot League play.
- The Black Knights boast a 9-2 home record over the last two seasons.
- Holy Cross comes into the weekend at 1-5 overall and 0-3 in league contests.
- The Crusaders opened their Patriot League run with some of the toughest opponents in the league in Lehigh (L, 15-4), Loyola (L, 13-4) and Bucknell (L, 12-4).
- The Black Knights and Crusaders will meet for the 28th time in the all-time series Saturday.
- Army holds a 26-1 edge over Holy Cross in the all-time series which began in 1991.
- The Cadets have not lost to Holy Cross in West Point.
- Last season the Black Knights defeated the Crusaders 10-4 on the road.

- In caused turnovers, Matt Farrell is first on the team with 11.

- The Cadets are tied for third in the country in scoring defense with just 7.00 points allowed per game.
- This has allowed Army to rank fifth nationally in scoring margin at 4.83.
- Johnny Surdick leads the squad with 12 caused turnovers and sits tied for sixth in the country in caused turnovers per game at 2.40.
- AJ Barretto's 6.95 goals against average is good for fifth in college lacrosse.
- Army has allowed seven or less goals in all of its wins so far this year.
- The Black Knights have also allowed under five goals on two occasions.
- Offensively, Army has reached double-digit goals on four occasions, three in victories.

- The Army West Point men's lacrosse team ranked 15th this week in both the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse/Nike Coaches Poll and in the Inside Lacrosse Maverik Media Poll.
- The Black Knights are 4-2 on the year and 1-2 against ranked opponents.
CLASS OF 2018
- The senior class boasts 36 wins in their careers in an Army uniform.
- The group accounts for 56 points, 95 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers through the first six games of the season.
- Army's seniors have produced half of the offensive points so far.
LAST TIME OUT
- Army suffered a 9-7 setback to Lehigh Saturday afternoon.
- The Black Knights rallied in the third quarter with a 3-0 run, but four by the Mountain Hawks in the final frame put them out of reach for the upset.
- Glancy fired up the Cadets' offense in the third with two of the three scores.
- The Black Knights saw six of their seven goals assisted.
- Jones led Army with three points on a goal and two assists, while Ted Glesener tallied a pair of scores.
- Surdick led both squads with five caused turnovers. He also had five groundballs in the attempt.
- Dom Ricca tied his career-high in ground balls with four in the contest.
EARLY ARMY LEADERS
- Glancy leads the Black Knights offensively with 18 points. He and Jones lead the team with 12 goals each, while David Symmes has tallied 10.
- John Ragno boasts a .614 faceoff efficiency and is third on the team in ground balls with 17. Jon LaMonica leads the squad with 29, while Surdick has 19.
- AJ Barretto is the Black Knights' starting goalie and has made 38 saves. He averages 6.95 goals against and has a .500 save percentage.
NATIONAL AUDIENCE
- The Black Knights will play on CBS Sports Network for three contests this season.
- The first matchup on national television is at Boston University on April 7 at 3:15 pm as part of tripleheader of Patriot League action.
- The following week, the greatest rivalry in college lacrosse, Army-Navy, takes center stage at Michie Stadium with a noon faceoff on April 14.
- The final regular season game for the Black Knights on CBS Sports Network will be the final Patriot League matchup of the season at Loyola at 7 p.m. on April 20.
- The semifinal and championship rounds of the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Championship will be televised by CBS Sports Network for the 10th-consecutive season.
- The semifinal round is set for Friday, April 27, with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, April 29.
- All three games will be hosted by the tournament's top overall seed.
- The Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Championship will also be televised live by CBS Sports Network on Sunday, May 6 at noon.
