Senior Day Showdown Set for Wednesday Night

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team will close out its 2017-18 regular season on Wednesday night when the Black Knights welcome Bucknell to Christl Arena for a senior day Patriot League matchup slated to start at 7 p.m.

GAMEDAY STORYLINES
• Wednesday's game is the 62nd all-time meeting between Army and Bucknell.
• Army will honor seniors Janae McNeal, Daizjah Morris, Destinee Morris, Margaret Anne Hubbell, Lena' Hicks and Aliyah Murray prior to the start of tonight's game.
• Senior Destinee Morris needs one more 3-pointer to pass Christine Gassman '03 for sole possession of sixth in all-time makes from long range.

POSTSEASON OUTLOOK
After defeating Colgate last Wednesday and Boston U. and Holy Cross both losing in its respected games, the Black Knights secured a spot in the 4 vs. 5 matchup in the Patriot League Tournament. Despite Army and Lehigh both being at 9-8 in league play, the Mountain Hawks currently hold the tiebreaker because they have defeated Bucknell and Navy this season. Army can only grab the fourth seed and home court advantage by beating Bucknell and Lehigh losing to Holy Cross.

• Bucknell is coming off a 57-52 home win against American, trumping the Eagles' chances of capturing a perfect Patriot League record. The Bison are on a 10-game winning streak, the second-longest streak by a Patriot League team this season.
• Three Bison are averaging double-digit points on the season, led by Kate Walker's 12.6 points per game. Kaitlyn Slagus (12.0) and Kyi English (10.1) are also averaging double-figures. Slagus is the team's top rebounder with 8.8 boards per contest, while English has led the team in assists with 2.5 per outing.
